Arrival Story:
Well, I was working at a community college and they had a vet program which had put Lily up for adoption in the school newsletter. Of course I could not resist. She was an extremely shy dog, they suspected abuse by the breeder. I got to take her home for a weekend trial visit and she pretty much hid in the corner the whole time. I walked her every day at lunch time until she came home, so that she could get used to me. Well, we have had her almost a year now and she has changed quite a bit. She isn't the hyper dog that her sister Lucy is, but she has definitely come out of her shell and loves and trusts me. Unfortunately, she has never warmed up to her dad, he must remind her of something bad.

Bio:
In April '05 one of our cats scratched sweet Lily on the eye. After lots of trips to the vet and lots of meds, we are all happy to say that she has made a complete and quick recovery, with only a tiny tiny scar/blindspot.
