Buck is a rescue dog, we got him June 1 of this year. His favorite treats are my shoes, library books, and the underground sprinkler systems!

Buck was also in the witness protection program (a.k.a.- PETCO DOGGIE RESCUE) so we are not very sure where he came from, our ideas are that he came from the North Pole or a VERY VERY padded room, but we love him so much, his past is not important! It is rumored he has ties to the Gambino crime family..... forget about it!

Just when I thought the weather was cooling down here in Nevada, today the temperature hit 70 degrees again. What is up with this????? Do the weather gods not know Thursday is Thanksgiving?? I had to get in the pool today and swim some laps, mom was sun bathing, I got her all wet (hehehehehehe!) and my brother Champ was whining because I stole his tennis ball. This morning was good, had pancakes for breakfast, and took off down the street for a jog. Tonight, I will be dining on roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, broccoli, and garlic bread. For desert, I will be tasting a variety of sherberts, peach, raspberry and lime. Then, after a potty break, I plan to hit the bed rather early tonight, one of my favorite shows comes on, Curb Your Enthusiasm.
More later, hugs, kisses, and licks, your pal~

My day...

Today is starting out to be a great day, it is about 40 degrees here in Vegas, all the people are freezing cold, running around with coats, electric blankets, socks, hats, and fireplaces roaring. I cannot get enough of the cool air though, I even jumped in the swimming pool a few minutes ago, ooohhhhh, that water felt nice! The wind is blowing strongly and I am still panting! My brother Champ does not have as much hair as I do so he is being a big baby, he won't leave the front of the electric heater going full blast in the kitchen. What a baby! As I was running laps around the back yard this morning I went so fast I ran into a palm tree! I was dazed for a moment but I acted as if I meant to do it. Well, I will write more later, must go enjoy this delightful weather!!!

50 degrees here in Vegas

I always knew that one day it would cool down here in the desert, the long days of 115 would come to an end and all this hair would come in handy. I am all white with blue eyes and all the bedding and furniture is white so I tend to blend in to alot of things. Tonight I get to sleep on the bed with my parents legitimately though!! It is cooling down and the weather man said it may even get down to 40 by Sunday!! I don't remember much of my life before I was adopted, I know I was skinny, scared, and didn't trust anyone. Loud noises frightened me, my new brother tried to bite my neck, and I did not think I would ever feel at home. But, time has passed and now I can't even imagine being anywhere else. I am happy, gained a ton of weight, I even bark at the little rat dog next door and once at the bug man! I still check to make sure Mom and Dad are where I left them, but I know they will be with me forever!
