Arrival Story:
I had moved into my first home and had been living there a few months by myself and was lonely. One Saturday I went to petsmart to see if there were any dogs there who would like to come and live with me. My friends and I walked down the row of cages with all the sad looking pups and I wanted to take them all home! However the last cage in the row was the cage that held my best friend. As soon as I saw him I knew he was the pup for me. The people who ran the shelter said they had a hard time finding a home for him because everyone wanted to use him for hunting..... he had decided it was time for him to retire and made a run for it and thats how he got to the pound. I asured them the only thing he would hunt for would be his cong toy and they let me adopt him. They had turned down 40 other aplicants. He was a bit of a troublemaker at first, I found out he could reach on top of the counters....and shred everything shredable...... and tear the stuffing out of a stuffed animal faster than the spead of light, but he has become my best buddy!

Bio:
January 2009 I moved into a new home with my fiance and we adopted a redbone coonhound named Otis! We are one big puppyloving family with three of best dogs ever.

Today my brother Otis went in for eye surgery :( I am so depressed without him. Las night mom and dad got out the lazer pointer and let us run and play and bark and cconhound wrestle for hours so it's not all bad. I need to cuddle.

So thismorning mom gave the Dr. and I peanutbutter to play a prank on dad. dad was laughing at us because we were licking our mouths like crazy and we looked silly. I dont mind dad laughing at all.......as long as it involves me getting peanutbutter!

I got so bored while mom and dad were at work I thiught I would check out what was in the trashcan in dads bathroom, I would have gotten away with it too if mom wasn't hugging me and found all the chewing gum stuck to my leg . . . . Hey I was saving that for later mom!
