We were looking for a new friend fo buddy, and one day I an ad on Craigslist for an outdoor lab who needed home "asap." Long story short, I picked him up and brought him to Buddy's house. The family we got him from said they found him roaming the streets, coaxed him home with them, but he had a lot of bad habits, so they couldn't keep him. They said he barked, dug, destroyed kennels, jumped up, and was a food-hog. All understandable for a stray, but they didn't have the time to break him of these habits, and really hadn't wanted a new dog anyway. Well, the only problems he had with us were chasing cats, and not understanding the concept of "playfighting." Both vanised within a month, and now he's a happy, healthy, wonderful member of the family, and Buddy is all too happy to have a friend around again.
Bio:
He might look old because of the gray on his muzzle, but the vet said he can't be more than about 3, so we decided his birthday is September, 2006. We are guessing the stress of living on the streets did it to him. My mom has a black mutt she found on the street named Jack, and has a silver muzzle too, and is about the same age as Johnny.
