Arrival Story:
I wanted to get a dog for my parents for Christmas and they wanted a low-shedding, small dog that barks at strange noises and is housebroken. I was doing a haircut on a guy at the salon I work at and he told me that he and his wife wanted to get rid of their 6-year-old mini schauzer because she bit their 1-year-old grandson in the face. So I called my mom from the salon and asked her if she'd be interested. It took some persuasion, but she agreed to get the dog. We went and picked her up about a month later ( the wife was having a hard time deciding on whether or not to give the dog up ) and she's had no adjustment problems whatsoever. She's been the best dog. We got her a little wicker bed to sleep in my parents' room at the foot of their bed and she won't sleep in there. She'd rather sleep in the basement. I suppose it's cooler for her. She loves to go outside and Dad said she's very good in the car. She's such a great little girl and I'm glad we got her for my parents and they're glad I convinced them they wanted this dog :)
