Likes:
Sleeping on the bed. Going to the P-A-R-K, which I can't say unless we are really going. She also loves to terrorize any dogs smaller than her (watch out daschunds and chihuahuas!)

Pet-Peeves:
When her people leave her. When dogs won't chase her. Anything near her rear end. Bad fecal screening experience, we don't blame her.

Favorite Toy:
Anything that squeaks and fits in her mouth.

Favorite Food:
Popcorn, cheese or anything that falls off the table.

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere! She loooves going to Petsmart and doggie parks.

Best Tricks:
Sit, stay, lay down, rollover

Arrival Story:
I bought Abby at a petstore, saving her from being molested by a Bichon. She was terribly cute and broke the bank, but I had to have her.

Another day at the park

January 1st 2006 9:05 pm   [link to this entry]

Hi everyone, dogs and people alike. I am Abby, a cute fuzzball made from snow and cottonballs. Oh, and lots of love.

Today we went to the P-A-R-K. I can spell pretty well, so my humans don't even say it outloud. But that doesn't stop me, I know when they put on their shorts and flip flops it is time. Plus, I know which day of the week is Sunday, that helps a lot, too. I am pretty smart, my grandma tells me that too.

Today was my new brother Elliot's first time at the park. He was crazy!! He went in the wet stuff without a second thought. And he went up to the big dogs, too!!!! I never do that, I am pretty shy sometimes.

We got really dirty, so we had to have a bath when we got home. Yuck. I was a fighter though, I hid in the backyard as soon as Elliot went in the bath. Yep, he needs to learn you don't come when called while the water is running. Duh! But mom caught up with me, dammit. She tricked me with cutesy voice and hugged me....then picked me up. Oh well, I like to smell pretty.

Elliot and I were so tired that we just passed out after our post-bath frenzy. We napped all day! It was great!

Anyway, I am off to bed, got to go snag my spot in the middle of the bed before anyone gets there.
