Lexi is a little princess- She thinks she is THE BOSS of everyone ... She had one puppy in 2001 which is our Rocky that we have. She had a rough time having him so we did choose NOT to let her have anymore. Lexi thinks she MUST lay beside whomever is sitting down .. lol She loves to ride- Loves to get pampered. Very good with strangers. Lexi is what made us fall in love with the doxie breed :)

Lexi went back to the vet to have her bloodwork done again-

Fortunatly her level is 45 % right now-
This means she is getting more oxygen throughout her body-

The vet reduced her dosage of prednisone to one pill a day-

Still has not placed her back on her seizure meds-Fortunalt she has NOT had a seizure since being off her meds-

She has gained like 2 lbs since last visit.
This is due to the prednisone.

She is to go back around the 28th of Jan.

Lexi started having seizures about 1 year ago- She ended up having to be placed on Phenabarb for this.
We almost lost Lexi in Dec of 2004. She started acting really strange, not eating well, walking well, no energy, whiteish grey gums, ect. After taking her to the vet we found out she had anemia. Her immune system was killing off her Red Blood cells. After supervision for several days and being placed on a steriod (Prednisone) she luckily pulled thru it. We got to bring her home Thursday before Christmas. At this moment we are tappering her meds off with hopes she does NOT have a relapse. She also had to be taken off her seizure meds. Luckily she has NOT had a seizure while off of it. We will have to continue keeping a close eye on her.
