Arrival Story:
We have two red smooth dachsunds and I wanted a Long Hair- I found Daniel in Petfinder with the Dare Rescue group- I feel in LOVE with him the moment I saw his picture. I could NOT wait to meet Daniel. I was afraid that my other male doxie may be territorial with him BUT I was very surprised.... I think since Daniel was a submisive dog it heped as far as bringing him into the family.

Bio:
Since Daniel is a rescued furbaby we are not sure when his Birthday is so we celebrate it on February 7th- Thats his "GOT ME" day :) We got Daniel in 2004. The rescue thinks he was 4 yrs old then but of course we cant be sure. Daniel had to have 12 teeth pulled while in Dachshund rescue care- He is such a sweet boy and has a GREAT personality. Even though he doesnt have alot of teeth he still keeps up with the other two. When we first got Daniel he was a little hesitant around men. He has really came along way. He loves to sit with my son, Hubby or I and give kisses and get loved on. Daniel encourages everyone to adopt a pet- I couldnt imagine our household without him. He is truly a part of our family. Daniel has two other Doxie playmates- Lexi (female) and Rocky (male)- He and Rocky love to snuggle together and sleep :) ********************************** **************************
