Arrival Story: I saw Champ at Hillsbrough Animal Services the first day I started volunterring. They found him as a stray with a international chip but no one claimed him. He was the most calm, quiet, and cute dogs :) there. He had been at the shelter for over a month. But as I went up to him he wagged tail and gave me a kiss on my hand. I just fell in love with him. Because my father doesn't want any "official" pets I ended up having Champ as a transition dog (foster dog). Bio: Champ is a very laid back dog. Though he is a pitbull mix, he is not very high energy like most pit bulls. You don't have to take him on a 4 hour walk to tire him out. Doesn't like to be alone but gets over it quick. Lol. He is a very calm-submissive dog. He loves going for walks and he is very good on the leash. When he drinks water sometimes he puts his whole muzzle in it. Haha. And his does snore sometimes. He is shy/little nervous when some men approach him. He does get excited when he sees other dogs (I have to socialize him more) but no aggressive at all. I've Been On Dogster Since:
