My son was in the car with me after we picked up Pennie and asked me what I was going to name her.. LOL I laughed and said I have no idea. So he rattles off some silly names..And I said, "ok how about Penelope"! (as a joke of course) and he said, I know, we can call her Pennie.. And it just fit her.

Well my oh my it has been a long day. Anyone know how long a puppy can hold their pee? I have started her on litter box training and so far she just SITS in it..LOL.. I have also put her on a wee pad and nothing.

So far she seems to be eating ok, but I worry A LOT about hypoglycemia because I went through it with Kizzie first, not bad with her, had maybe 2 episodes when she was a baby but she was a really good eater and I kept food in her crate and available 24/7.

Then we got Foxy a year ago and she was TOUGH! She was a very picky eater, one day she would eat one thing the next not interested in it, it could go like that a couple times in one day even. So we did whatever it took because she did have a few episodes. I was so happy when she grew out of that!!

Well since she is not going potty yet when I take her I am going to keep her in the larger wire crate with a potty pad and her food and water. I NEED to kep some sleep so we will do this until she starts going potty in the litter box and adjusts to the crate.. She is REALLY mad right now, and very loud, and right next to me..LOL..

I might just go insane if this keeps up.. hehe I know, it's all part of the adjustment period. :-)
