Bio:
MEET Saffron. She is an attractive American Pit Bull Terrier. Saffron is about 5 years old. She is a friendly and wants to follow you everywhere and just be your pal. Her coat is gorgeous and we named her Saffron because she reminds us of the color of the spice Saffron. As you know, saffron is one of the most precious spices in the world! We feel the same way about our Saffron dog. She looks like she has had puppies in the past. She just began basic obedience and will benefit from continued training. Saffron will be spayed prior to her adoption. She is up to date on her shots. She loves to play with balls, Frisbee's and play fetch. Our Saffron is an energetic gal. This lovely lady is intriguing and would make a great companion dog for an active family ( with older children due to her high energy level) that enjoys the outdoor life. She would not make a good match for a couch potato. Calling for any Jane Fonda wanna Be's !!!!! If you are an active person looking for a great looking dog as well as an ideal companion dog than Saffron is the pick of the litter for you. Addendum: Saffron was put to sleep on Tuesday 4/5/05. I exhausted all my options. She was beginning to wither at the shelter. She did not like other animals and was an older dog. I could not find her a home that was suited for her. I have cried all weekend over her. I wish I could have found her the type of home she was so deserving of. But, unfortunatly, time was against me and Saffron and she had to go to Rainbow Bridge. I love you and will never forget you Saffron. Love Sue & the dog pack! Please visit Saffron's obedience instructor's friend Sue's website at www.Dynamicdogtraining.net

Your death was not in vain

Hear our humble prayer, O God,

for our friends the animals,

especially for animals who are suffering;

for any that are hunted or lost, or deserted or frightened or hungry;

for all that must be put to death.

We entreat for them all thy mercy and pity a

and for those who deal with them we ask a

heart of compassion and gentle hands and kindly words.

Make us, ourselves, to be true friends to animals

and so to share the blessings of the merciful.

Albert Schweitzer
