Arrival Story:
On July 9, 2009, I had to have my 13 year old Cairn Terrier, Toto put to sleep due to kidney failure. To cope, I started visiting my local animal shelter and walked and played with the dogs there. I had no intention of adopting one. After a couple of weeks, Abby showed up at the shelter and my husband and I couldn't resist. We adopted her! She joined her 12 year old Cairn Terrier brother, Ozzy on July 27, 2009. They get along great, but she is much more playful than he is. He thinks he is just too old for her games!
