well, if you have food she will either dance or sit. i have no say in which one she performs and she won;t do it unless i have food.
Arrival Story:
i worked at a veterinary hospital in the houston area, and this particular hospital vets the dogs for a local shih tzu and lhasa rescue. normally these are not my favorite breed of dogs. but one month they were short on foster homes and lily was one of the dogs there for over a month. well she was so sweet and so good when the rescue lady came to pick her up i started crying because i loved this dog so much. the lady laughed and said here--you keep her now and i'll get the paperwork to you and you can adopt her.
Bio:
lily is probably the most poorly trained, yet best behaved dog ever. she does not sit or stay on command, she won't perform tricks, yet i can take her to work (another vet in austin) and place her on the front desk and she will sit there all day long. the job i adopted her at she used to sit in a big empty file drawer with a blanket in it and the place after that she would sleep under my desk, she is very placid and laid back, which makes her the perfect dog for me as i am a bit of a couch potato.
