Arrival Story:
Emily came to our rescue along with her daughter, Dorothy, after some kind people had taken them in hoping to find them a home. Needless to say after a home was not found quickly they were headed to the local pound, but we stepped in and offered them a temporary home.
Emily:
Emily is a very loving and sweet girl that would make a great addition to almost any family. She walks well on a leash and she acts as if she
may be housetrained. If not I feel she would housetrain quite easily.
She is a great little dog that loves to be with people. She will make a
great family pet and companion! Emily came to the rescue with her daughter Dorothy back in July, but sadly neither has found a home yet. Emily is around 1 - 1 1/2 years old and
weighs about 22 lbs. She appears to be perhaps a dachshund/sheltie mix. She is very sweet and friendly. Emily is also a very smart girl - she knew how to push up the latch to open her kennel
door in about 5 seconds. She loves to play with her puppy, Dorothy and
she also loves attention from people. Her favorite thing to do is give
kisses. Emily has already been spayed, is current on vaccinations,
heartworm negative and on heartworm and flea preventative. Please
consider adopting this sweet little girl today!
