Arrival Story:
Star is quite the traveller. She started out in a Missouri puppymill and when that was shut down she and many of the mill dogs were transported to a kennel in Southern California. The kennel didn't want the rat terriers and contacted New Rattitude Rat Terrier Rescue to take the 2 rat terriers in the bunch. Star was pregnant though and it took awhile to find a foster family ready to take on fostering a nursery. When our home was found in the Tacoma area an airline volunteer flew down to SoCal and carried Star back in cabin with them. Three days after she reached Washington she gave birth to 5 healthy pups. This sweet-tempered girl will be available for adoption after the pups are weaned.
