Arrival Story:
Spargel came to our home this past Spring. I went outside to check on Norway when I see Norway palying with this long haired doggie. He had a collar, but no tag. I decided to drive to the neighboring homes and see if he bel;onged to anyone, but he did not belong to anyone in my area. I put up signs around town and on all road signs near my home, but the calls I got were always for other lost dogs. I even ran an ad in the local newspaper for two weeks and no repsonse. The last thing I needed with 8 cats and 1 dog was another pet, but he got on so well with my Norway and the cats eventually accepted him into our happy but BIG furry family. I thought about taking him to the local shelter, but they said they could not assure me he would not be put to sleep if he was not adopted, so unable to find Spargel a home, after 4 weeks we just decided that this was his home.
