I had a talk with Alexei the other day. He says I ought to consider getting a BlackBerry account. He says this way, I'll be online in real-time all the time! This is nifty!

My former master can now send me things and I see it instantaneously. Thank God Alexei loves gizmos that enable me to communicate.

I look forward to hearing from all of you soon! Do feel free to send me e-mail messages at alexeimeister@gmail.com. To facilitate matters, please include: "ATTN: Prof. Moriarty" in the subject line. You can rest assured that I will respond promptly.

Another biting incident!

Uh oh... I had a tantrum today and I bit the maid since she kinda caught me while I was in a bad mood... Alexei showed that he was visibly upset and appalled at what I'd done. I didn't get any treat from him today. What's worse is I've been given the silent treatment. Sheesh! I hope his sentiments change tomorrow...

I know what I'll do! I'll show more enthusiasm for the work he brings home from the office. I'll sit beside him when he's in the study working on spreadsheets. This should be an effective way to atone for my sin... I hope...

Weight gain...

Woe is me! People have been noticing that my weight has started to increase dramatically. Alexei thinks that I have gotten much heavier compared to the past week. I hope the doctors don't recommend a diet for me because I've just gotten some very good treats lately!

The family's back and I might be learning Mandarin soon...

At last, Alexei has finally remembered to post a new diary entry for me. He's been busy with a lot of stuff ever since he came back from China. I'm so happy to see him because I'm not used to being lonely. It's also a good thing that he continues to give me treats after my meals.

Oh, I am now learning how to obey commands in Putonghua. If Alexei holds some of his Putonghua sessions at home, I will be invited to participate so I can learn a new language. Besides, it might come in useful since I am, after all, a Chinese breed. If only I can learn how to read Zhongwen... Ah, never mind... I have to take things one step at a time.

Biting the hand that feeds me...

Ah, I think I've done something rash again... I tried to bite Mommy Ning's hand. She was most upset because she was just trying to remove a clump of morning glory that's been accumulating in my eye. I just got irritated so I lunged at her hand. I feel so bad for doing this but it is just my nature. It's not easy being a pet. My life is so hard. At least I can get treats whenever Alexei comes home.

New pics for the Easter season

I'm so happy that new pics of me were posted especially for the Easter season. I look forward to getting some goodies on Easter Sunday. Although I cannot have chocolate-filled Easter eggs, I'm sure Alexei will give me a lot of extra-declicious treats instead! Ahh... the thought of food just makes me salivate!

I feel so fortunate for having a master that understands my abhorrence for diets. After all, I deserve remuneration for guarding the house, getting rid of cockroaches and bringing joy to the family. Right?

Celebrating my birthday

Yipee! It's a good thing I have Alexei because he is such a good master. Although I felt horrible for not seeing him yesterday which was my birthday, I got the chance to see him today! He gave me those exquisite French doggie treats! They were yummy! Ah, if only he would give me MORE! It's a good thing mom and dad were away otherwise they would've objected to the sumptuous treats I had. Bah! I am entitled to enjoy myself since I have to celebrate the most wonderous occasion: my birth!

My bath!

Ah, after two weeks of being such a skunk at home because of my anti-flea spray I was finally given a bath. I've noticed that even Alexei started to play with me and let me lick his face again now that I smell so marvy. I just wish I would be given BIGGER servings of food since I am, after all, already grown up. Otherwise, I might lose weight and look like a social pariah of the dog kingdom. Woe is me!!!

My depressing diet

Argh! Everyone at home excluding Alexei is on that weird "South Beach Diet" thing. I know it's not applicable to dogs but the bad news is my doctor said I was overweight. Harumph! There's nothing wrong with being adorable and cute. In fact, I have been begging for more and more table scraps lately because I've noticed that the servings for my meals have gotten smaller. Grr...

I hope Alexei can sneak some food my way. The problem is he gets home late and I have to spend the day chasing cats out of my domain. It's tiring and I need nourishment (read: MORE FOOD). People don't seem to realize that this is a very draining activity on my part.

Oh well, I just had to vent my feelings before I explode and start nipping at people who try to pet me when I'm in a bad mood.

New pictures and lessons in finance!

Ah, new pictures of Prof. Moriarty will be posted soon! A picture of him doing the "asp" will be included. It's a pity that this website cannot incorporate videos though. Anyway, the Professor and Alexei will have a shoot soon. That much is known.

Oh, Prof. Moriarty also had another lesson in finance last night. He learned about real options valuation. I just hope that he will learn something since he has had a lot of exposure in this field since he was six (6) months old. Who knows, the Professor might one day become the Warren Buffett of Dogdom! How's about that?
