Arrival Story:
Rico is not my dog, he is my aunts dog. But he stays with me sometimes. But this is how his story goes. My aunt had a german shepherd(male) back when she lived in St.Cloud. His name was sarge. She had to give him away, because he was tied all the time(cuz he would jump their 6ft fence, and run off) and soon became aggressive. So she gave him to a farm lady. She eventually moved away from that area. Up to wisconsin here, where we live, and her parents(my grandparents). They had a GSD as well named Sarge. He was the family pet for the longest time, along with our Cane Corso Cookie. They both passed away first sarge and a month later cookie. So, there were no dogs around..which was unusual for us...well we had megan(cookies daughter) who came and visited but she didn't not live close. Well my uncle steve and his family, moved up here as well. And they had two shepherds. Maggie a red and black GSD with all german blood lines. And Fritz a almost all black with very light tan almost white markings..who had all german bloodlines. They had a littler of pups..2 males and 6 females. My aunt connie helped them move up here so, they said she could have pick of the litter(for free). She didn't want a dog, but she went home and thought about it. Next, day she went a picked out the runt of the litter...Rico:]
Bio:
Rico has lymes disease. Also on new years 2 years ago. Was hit by a car, and developed the disease Panas. He has to have eyedrops put into his eyes everyday, twice daily. Or he will become blind. For all that he has been through, he is a great dog.
