My husband and I have discussed adopting a rescue dog or puppy, but were going to wait until next year. I really wanted a dog I could run with and would not have a problem with the distance I run. After a lot of research, I decided that I wanted some sort of cattle dog.
I found Roscoe on an ad in Craigslist. He was picked up along the side of the road by the city shelter with a spider bit on his front leg. The Vet there checked him out and felt he'd do better in a foster home. His foster Mom had him for about 3 weeks when I saw her ad. We met and I instantly fell for him and what really got me was that floppy ear!! He seemed really sweet and I loved his coloring!
