 Birthday: April 16th 2009
Likes: Loves belly rubs and to lick toes

Pet-Peeves: Baths and someone steping on his tail.

Favorite Toy: Bones! and his rope toys.

Favorite Food: Ruff n Tuff dog ration. It is the only dog food I have found that doesn't hurt his tummy with the runny poos and I even tried the raw diets too.

Favorite Walk: 3 miles one way everyday so 6 miles total. He loves to just fall in step with me. I can drop the lead and he just follows along happy to just walk.

Best Tricks: Sit, Release, In, Out, Here, and famous for FLOPPY DOGFISH. (the last is the typical bully roll over for belly rubs where they wiggle all around)

Arrival Story: I am sad to inform everyone but my beloved Tank passed away from a medical conditon that has our vet baffled. He went to sleep and didn't wake up. No clue what happened the vet couldn't figure it out. I am guessing it was just his time. I am currently looking for a new pup to adopt for service work and companionship. My heart aches for my Tank but I must move on. Thanks to everyone who supported us.
I became Tanks guardian in the end of June of 09. He and his litter mates had been left in a crate for a med/small dog for 4 days. They had no food, water or a way out to relieve themselves. Tank was the runt of the litter and was starving to death. I feel if I had not intervened he would not of made it another night. They were left in a garage with little ventilation and with the Florida heat they were destined for death. Between my mother and I we stole all 8 of the puppies. I fell in love with Tank at the moment I pulled him out. He wagged his wiggly butt and was licking with as weak as he was I was surprised. He was showing he wanted to live. So, I fed him and kept him with me at all times. He even went to the store with me. The boy would follow me into the standing shower where he would get a bath and then whimper at the door till I got out. He has been my constant companion since.

Bio: Tank is in training currently to become my Service dog for my anxiety and Bipolar. It is hard and laborious but I enjoy it and he is rising to the challenge everyday. I can't wait till next year for his test. I am scared and excited. No matter what I will always love him and he has a permenate home with me.
