Arrival Story:
This is Bear and he's anything but! He's a sweet mild tempered boy who is about a year old. He does fine on a leash and who is friendly with other dogs and really doesn't pay attention to cats. Bear still needs a little attention to potty training since he thinks it's OK to mark in the house, but with someone who can give him some time and guidance, he will get the hang of it really fast. He's really the best of both breeds with the Dachshund frame with the color and looks of a Beagle, but without the Beagle bark (not that there's anything wrong with that....). Bear likes to play with other dogs, people or even by himself! when he plays by himself he tries to shove as many toys in his mouth as he can and run around with them. Or he will play fetch with himself! This is a dog that everyone just falls in love with when they meet him, I think you will too! Bear is not scheduled yet to be nuetered, but he will be be soon..

Bio:
Adoption Fee is $ TBA Adoption fee covers for our Adoption Package for dogs which includes: heart worm checked, treated for any fleas and worms, heartworm medication, microchipped, up to date rabies vaccination, spayed/neutered, grooming, (dogs over 1 year old only) DHLPP vaccinations (dogs under 1 year old 2 vaccinations). Free 30 days of health insurance, and FREE basic & problem solving training before and after adoption if needed, and veterinary treatment for any other issues the dog may have. A journal is provided by the foster parent of the dogs progress while in foster care if they have undergone any training. Full health records are provided to the adopters.
