Arrival Story:
I am a puppy walker for the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind, Inc. based out of Smithtown NY. Juniper is the first pup that I ever received from GDF, and the first dog I ever actually trained. He was released from the GDF training program for having really bad food allergies, and since I was his puppy walker, I was given first opportunity to adopt him. I was absolutely in love with Ju, so my boyfriend and I decided to keep him. He now lives with my boyfriend (since I am in college and currently raising another puppy for GDF) and is absolutely spoiled rotten.

Bio:
Ju is currently eating Blue Buffalo Large Breed Adult formula. We have had a really hard time finding a food that doesn't cause him to itch, get ear infections and skin infections, and have diarrhea and GI problems. He is doing well on Blue Buffalo, but I would love to know if anyone else has any suggestions on how best to deal with an allergy dog. If you have every used Blue Buffalo, I would love to hear about your experience with it!
