Likes:
Going for hikes, doing agility outside, playing in the snow, jumping off the diving board, into the pool to swim, doing tricks and nylabones, he can actually destroy a nylabone big chew, but he loves them

Pet-Peeves:
when his tennis ball rolls under the sofa, where he can't reach it

Favorite Toy:
his stuffed elephant, when we first got it for him, we thought that he would chew it up right away, but he has really become attached to it, and he makes a point not to chew it up! It USED to have a braided tail, two ears, and a bowtie.

Favorite Food:
Nutro Max-chicken and rice, Barkin Bacon, Beggin' strips, carrots, and bananas!

Favorite Walk:
on the trails in the back of our house, he loves hikes. He doen't hesitate to go into the stream in the back. And he knowes that when we get back from the hike, he will be given a nice bath. He LOVES baths.

Best Tricks:
sit up pretty, bang(he pretends like he is shot, and falls to the ground), place, and hi-five. Sligo is very willing to please. He is also a very fast learner.

Arrival Story:
after our 15 year old Briard passed away, we went into pounds looking for dogs, but we didn't click with any of them. We then saw an ad for border collie puppies for sale, and we figured, well, we would just go look at them, well we fell in love with Sligo ( at that time his name was phantom) and we brought him home about 4 days later. Sligo was the alpha male in the litter, but he then realized that he wasn't the boss of us, and now he doen't have any moe trouble with that.

Bio:
Sligo is a pure-bred tricolor Border Collie. He staands about 27 inches at the shoulder. He has brown eye-brows (I just love them!), and a tail that has a white tip on the end.****************************** ********* Sligo is the uncle of Fiona , a Pomeranian, even though Fiona is older than him. ********Check me out in the Valentine's Day parade!!!!***********

Today, we went to the barn to see our horse "Gus". I got to run around. And Gus I was following Gus everywhere that he went. I love to run oround. I met a dog there, he is part Border Collie. His name is Chance, and he is really nice. We run and play together. We both like to eat the horse manure. For some odd reson, my parents think that that is really gross, and they stop us when they see us eating it. I love to go to the barn.

It's snowing!!!!! I love snow! The kids are up, we had our breakfast, and now it's time to play! They are taking forever to put on thier snow clothes. I can barely stand in the snow it is so deep! But I prance through the snow, and try to find a nice stick to play with. The kids are building and igloo, I want to help, I try to jump over the wall, but I accidentally knock it down. I don't think that i should have done that . The kids aren't mad at me. YES, Em (my sister) is getting the leash! We are going for a walk! When we get to the woods, she takes off my leash, and I stay by her side until she sais go go go, then I'm allowed to run and play, but if she calls my name, then I must return to her as fast as I can. I can't seem to find a nice stick to play with today, becouse everything is entreched with snow! Oh wait, theres a stick sticking out of the ground. I am pulling at it, I can't seem to get it off the ground. Em comes over to me to see what I am doing... then she sais to me, silly sligo, thats not a sick, thats a root... no wonder why you couldn't pull it out of the ground. We are almost back home, and I am so sleepy. When we arrive back home, I take a nap on my nice new doggie bed, next to the fireplace. ZzZzZzZzZzZz
