Learned a new word for "happiness" : Fur-tell-eyes-er

This morning's walk was pretty awkward. My human kept asking me where the bone was every time I pooed, but honestly, I can't remember the last time I had a bone. No idea what she's talking about.

This morning's walk was AWESOME! First, I smelled some grass, then I smelled more grass, and then this really nice lady asked my human something and then started petting me... it was truly the GREATEST thing I can remember. OMG. And then some other lady came over and petted me. Humans are SO NICE!

And I also saw a DOG. It was a very little dog, but still, it was a DOG! I wanted to kill it just for being on the sidewalk with me... or even across the street. HUF! Can you believe the nerve of that dog?

But the highlight of the whole walk was the grass-rolling. I found the BEST SMELLING GRASS ever! Wow, this stuff was primo! As soon as I smelled it I ran over and flopped down on it, rolling all over the place and just trying to soak up as much of the fur-tell-eyes-er smell as possible. DELICIOUS! Meanwhile, my human looked pretty upset. She just stood there and stared at my revelry with a look of dismay... usually she laughs and says "good grass roll!" but not this morning. She has such weird priorities.

Now, I'm back on the carpet and my humans are watching the blinkety box. I'll never forget that delicious-smelling fur-tell-eyes-er, though!

My human also pointed out that we're dog blog of the day! How exciting! I'm so happy to see all the wagging tails and goofy smiles. :-p

When you're on your own... like a chicken bone...

Last night was THE ALL-TIME BEST THING I CAN REMEMBER! I was shuffling around the outside of our building with my human after just getting the fatty pieces from the pot roast and I FOUND A BONE on the ground! Just LAYING there! It was so exciting that I started crunching instantly...

... which of course got my human's attention. She started shoving her fingers all in with the bone and when I accidentally chewed down on her finger (like, HEY, what are you doing trying to fish my delicious bone out of my mouth?!?) she got so mad. I sure thought I'd had it for good that time...

... so of COURSE, I finished my delicious snack and we went upstairs. But boy, she was really angry. She wouldn't even LOOK at me after that, just sat on the couch with an ice pack. I even came over to lick her feet and she just told me to go in the other room. I felt so bad. So I laid down and just tried to be very quiet.

I'm going to try to make it up to her today by taking her on an extra long walk. She always cheers up after we bark at some dogs and I show her my grass-rolling trick. (if you've never tried it, you definitely should! just lay on your back on the grass and wiggle back and forth... it feels DELIGHTFUL and always gets a good laugh out of the human).
