Nikki's best trick is how she managed to edge her way into my heart so quickly.
Arrival Story:
I adopted Nikki from the Humane Society on November 13, 2004. I fell in love with her from the moment I saw her. I think I was meant to adopt her, she has done wonders for me. I love her as if she were my child.
Bio:
Nikki has been fighting an illness for a couple of months now. She went in for exploratory surgery on Feb 9th bcause they thought she had a blockage in her belly, her belly was fine, however, by Feb 13th she couldn't walk, she was paralized for a couple of weeks, she couldn't walk at all, she's been walking now for two weeks I guess, she's not walking normal but she's improving, "they" don't know the cause of her paralisis, however, I have my ideas, just not sure. Nikki is a very special doggy :)

she past away 9-10-11, her tummy had twisted and they couldn't help her. She was the love of my life and I am truly heart broken. Her little brother Tucker is having trouble adjusting without her as well

I'm glad to announce that Nikki is so well. She is very energetic and starting to jump a bit. She is very excited to go to the dog park every day, she loves seeing the people and the dogs. She goes up to every dog to get them to play and just about every person for a pat on the back and a sniff for a treat :)
She's made remarkable strides. I'm impressed every day. She is my "lil" baby!!
