Arrival Story:
Our neighbors brother breeds pure bred chocolate labs and we had always wanted to buy one and could never afford to purchase one. When he heard that my husband and I were married on May 19th, 2001 he let us pick a puppy from his new litter as a wedding gift. When I put my arms out into the crate, Cassy ran to me and started to lick my face. I fell in love with her right away.

Bio:
Cassy is such a love. She is goofy and would probably be voted "Class Clown". She is INCREDIBLE with our three year old daughter and is a wonderful protector of our family. Although she was bred to be a hunting dog, she loves to just lay around and let my daughter and our 9 year old black cat jump all over her.

Dogster?

Something crazy happened today. My owner got all excited about something colorful that was on her electronic box. I think she called it "Dogster". I watched her as she babbled on and on about someone at work telling her all about it. I watched her push around that little plastic thing until I saw a picture of the most beautiful dog in the world. I quickly realized it was me. Now I was interested. I sat quietly next to her as she browsed through the pages of good looking dogs. Big dogs, little dogs and dogs that looked like some of my friends. I soon realized that now there is a place for me to look at in that plastic box that sits on her desk. Now I can make friends and look at other dogs just like me and dogs not so much like me. I am so glad that there is a smart human out there to invent such a thing.

licks and paws,
Cassy
