Arrival Story:
I rescued Binky from an abusive and hostile enviroinment. She was bought from a breeder in the Orlando area by my ex-boyfriend and his girlfriend at the time. When they broke up, she was with the the ex-boyfriend and his mother. The mother had no patience with Binky and was constantly SCREAMING at the poor baby for going to the bathroom in the house. But, she would only allow her out on the patio while she was smoking. If Binky didn't use a wee wee pad at that time, she was harshly punished for doing it inside. I was at their house quite a bit during the holidays and befriended Binky. After a few days of reassuring her that I was not evil like the other female, she gradually began to trust me. I think she was elated to be loved. I began to take her with me when I went back to my house, just to give the mother a break, (more for Binky) and the more she was away, the more she bonded with me. Soon, she didn't want to be away from me. And the mother liked not having to deal with her. I eventually broke up with the son and had to return Binky. I was heartbroken and I know Binky was too. But less than a week later, the son called me and said that if I didn't come and get Binky, they were going to take her to the pound. I got over there as fast as I could! Binky has been my little angel ever since. After a little time and effort house breaking her and showing her unconditional love, she is a wonderful dog.

My mom just got this new boy for me to play with. I don't know if I like him or not yet. I will just let him keep turning himself inside out to impress me. Mom kept saying that I needed a playmate, but I think I was doing just fine all on my own. I could chase all the lizzards I wanted without being interrupted by that smelly boy! Plus, I had Mommy and Daddy all to myself. Now I have to share them AND our bed!!! Well, I guess he is kind of amusing. But I am still the diva of the house and as long as he keeps trying to win me over, I guess I will let him make a silly fool of himself.
