Arrival Story:
Jake had been taken to the pound because he bit his owner's young daughter. My best friend Teri saw him in the paper and went to pick him up for her then husband. When she got there, they let Cass, who you will read about shortly, out of her kennel and told Teri that it was Cass's last day before being put down. Teri couldn't bear the thought of this sweet dog not having a home, so she told them she would take her, but that she wanted to see Jake too. They told her that she wouldn't want Jake, that he was mean and moody. She asked to see him anyway and adopted him. After Teri's divorce, I moved in with her and I wasn't a big Jake fan at first. He had never really liked Teri but for some reason, he LOVED me. The little Fartman made me love him and when Teri got re-married a year and a half later, she told me that she couldn't separate me from my "boy"! Yay! So, now, I've had Jake for four years and I've loved every minute!
Bio:
I don't know a lot about Jake prior to Teri bailing him out of the pound. He has had one grand mal seizure since I have become his owner, but he has only had the one and is not medicated for seizures. Yes, you see his age correctly. He is 16, but he still acts like a very young dog.

I friends. I went to the Rainbow Bridge on January 24, 2008. I had a good life with my mom and my family, but it was time to go. I know they miss me and they are really sad, but I loved them very much, and I still do. Thanks to all my friends and to my family. I will miss you guys!
