Arrival Story:
I was keeping my eye out at the local shelter for a dog that wouldn’t be crowded in my small apartment and yard. I was also researching different breeds of dogs on the internet to find the breed that best suited me and my living situation. The only breeds I had growing up were Labs and Lab mixes. But after doing the research I found that a smaller breed would be more compatible than a large breed dog. After searching the shelter off and on for several weeks, I came across an ad in the paper for some Boston terrier pups. I remember the information on the Boston terrier being almost a perfect match for what I was looking for so I made an appointment and went to look at the new arrivals. Little Henry was the only male in the group. He was snuggled up with his sisters on a blanket and when I approached them, the girls woke up but Henry kept on sleeping. His sisters insisted on playing with him, but Henry wanted no part in that, grumbled a bit and nodded back off to sleep. I thought…that’s my boy! Snuggly/sleepy and grumpy, just like his momma. That’s when I decided Henry would be the new addition to my home. Since then, I’ve moved into a house with a big back yard for him to run around in, but Henry still finds that his favorite place to be is on the couch snuggled up with me, asleep.

Bio:
My favorite place in the world is at home on the couch or running around my grandma and grandpa's farm. Even though the kitties pretend not to like me, I know better. Sometimes I wake up on the couch with them snuggled up against me.
