today is Friday and I amhappy cause mommy will be home with us tomorrow. I love the weekends. And mommy and daddy stayed in tonight instead of going out! I love my family... well, maybe not squee so much, but .. well, ok a little. (Dont say anything) *YAWN* time for another nap.

Reflections on puppyhood...

well, I just had my 21st b-day in dog years. (that is 3 years for those human readers). And now, looking back I can reflect on my puppy hood. I had a good time as a puppy. Mommy and dad spoiled me. I've made a lot of friends over the years... I had a first love, and a second. I got a little brother (grr...) and over all it was pretty good. But if I can give any advice to you pups out there, it would be to enjoy your puppy hood while it last and not be in such a rush to be a big dog. once you are a big dog you will be running with the big dogs for the rest of you life. Enjoy the spoiling, and yes even let your mom dress you up in stupid outfits once in a while so she will have those cute puppy pictures of you to cherish. Mums love stuff like that, especially as today is Mother's Day we must remember that important stuff. Enjoy being little enough to be carried around... soon your little brother will be the one carried around. Don't let your tail go limp for too long after you lose your first love, because before you know it you will meet the boxer of your dreams. and then once again, your little brother will come in and steal her away, but no worries, there is another one. So enjoy your puppy life while it lasts!!! its over much to fast... good luck!

Well.. went to the dog park again...brought the little one- too.

Mom brought Squee and I to the dog park. And my cousin Fanny and Auntie Jessica and "Uncle" Chad came. Fanny and I got to ride with the grown ups and little Squee had to ride in the crate.. haha.. SUCKER! :)
We met Grandpa Jerry and Uncle Justin there and they brought Bailey too. I didn't know what to do! Both my women were there at once! MY worlds were colliding! They didn't bark or play at all... it was really uncomfortable for a while. But you know Fannie has been playing alot with Squee lately anyway which I really don't like. I tried to dominate her and show her I was still boss but she is a floozy! Litter RObber! Bailey wasn't much into playing either, all she can think about is her ball.. man I need new women! yeah...ones I am not related to...(well we are n't blood related)
Other then that I had an okay time... mom spent the whole time chasing my crazy brother, it was his first trip there and didn't have any clue as to how to act! He almost got pooed on by a big dog.... Mom says I am the relieable one! She says I am so good and she is so proud of me :) SHe didn't even have to watch me, i would always stay close by. ANd I got more comments on my double curl tale... very admired. :) I met another pug named Frankie.. haah, he was kinda a little guy though, not as old as me, but He had his own boxer women which was funny too. SO much in common! Must be a Frankie thing! Well, I slept all the way home.. good to be back, the park was soooo crowded! But I only say two other pugs.. hmm. well, until later, I gotta go take a snooze.. *Yawn*

another dog another day...-

Well, the Squeeness is staying... and he is even sleeping with us now! unbelievable! But it's not all so bad, sometimes Squee lets me eat his food when mom isn't looking... mmm... and we play tug of war. I even let him win sometimes...ha! AND mommy still loves me most! so there! I guess he can stick around :)
We went to grandpa's house this weekend for the soupa bowl! Except there was no soup!? what a disappointment! But I did get some popcorn! Uncle bubba and grandpa both gave me some even though mom says I am on a diet! and mom even dropped a peice on the ground and I ate it up!! haha...
Bailey was there and we ran around the house and we even let Squee play a little bit.
on the drive mom let me sit in her lap both ways! She pet me and told me how good I was too! SHe said she was proud of how good I sit. And the best part is Squee had to be in the crate the whole way! haha... I am the dog!

Well, it looks like he is staying!

The Squee is still here. I guess he is going to be staying with us awhile. You don't think we will keep him forever do you??!!. Well, He likes to bug me alot. He bites my ears and my neck, I don't like it much but he is too little to get up on the couch by himself so I just go up there and then he can't get to me. haha.. I guess if we had to keep him it wouldn't be so bad. I could teach him a thing or two. BUT there are some things that just have got to stop. First of all, we were all on the couch with mom the other day cuddling, and of course we both wanted to sit by mom, but so did dad, so he was by her so I layed on the other side so mom could put me under the blanket. Then here comes Squee and tried to lay right between me and mom! ah! I jumped down and glared at him but he just kept sleeping! Can you believe the nerve! I better not see a repeat of that little incident...!
In other disturbing news... I have a SPice Girlz song stuck in my head! AH! Help! I suppose it could be worse.. it could be Britney! I'd rather listen to the poodle down the street!
Well that's all the barkin' I got in me for now... time for my hourly nap!

He is Here! The Squee!

My new baby brother came today. I got to go with mom and dad up to CleElum to pick him up. I wasn't so sure about him at first. He is real little and kinda funny looking. He's got the smallest nose i've eva seen! HOw does he breath out of that! ?
After we got him we went up to Grandpa Jerry and AUntie Moes. (She insists we call her auntie instead of grandma). WE played awhile and then mom and dad brang us to Petsmart and we got new toys and food for the Squee (that's what mom and dad call him). Then we went home, but there was a big fire on the way and we had to turn around and go the long way home. We finally got home and The Squee and I played for awhile. Mom bought him his very own mini-hedgehog so he wont steal mine, but then she yelled at me because i kept stealing it! He is too little anyway so I don't see the big deal if i "borrow" it for a little while. :) Mommy feeds him special food that I can't have but we can both share the water. So far it's been okay, I just hope he doesn't cry at night and keep me up! Afterall, I need all my beauty sleep.

A new brother for me

Well... mom says it is "official". Whatever that means... We are picking up my new brother tomorrow. I get to pick who I want to be my brother out of two puppies. Mom & I tossed and turned all night. She is nervous that I will be mad that she got a new puppy. I am just scared he will try to take my hedgehog. She said he is going to look like me but black. I wonder what made him turn black? Anyway, I get to see the lady that sold me to mom... I wonder is i will remember her. It's going to be different with a new puppy in the house! Where will he sleep? there is not room enugh in the bed for all of us! Mom barely has any room as it is with me and dad in there being "bedhogs". But she says I will be happier in the long un with a little brother to keep me company...I hope she is right.

A Little bro for me!? (head cocked to the side confused- eyes)

hmmm... i heard mom and dad talking about getting me a little brother. Mom is worried about me because the doggy doctor told me i need to lose 4 pounds! She says i sleep to much (all day is too much!?) and that I need a playmate. The lady mom got me from has new pug puppies ready this week! Now she is struggling with a decision! She says they cost $600 dollars! (what's that mean?!) I don't know if i want a brother. I love to play with other dogs... so much! but will my new brother take all my mommies attention from me?! will I still get to sleep with mommy and daddy? Will he hog all the food? Will he steal my hedgehog? I don't know what my mom will do...
