Arrival Story:
After we lost Toby, I felt like we needed to wait a while for another dog. Then I stumbled upon another classified ad (okay, well, I was looking for fun) and found an ad for an AKC/CKC Boxer who needed a new home desperately. The picture of him clearly showed that he was malnourished and needed attention. I called and set up a time to pick him up and went to get him. The stories that were told about him were shady - i.e.: "We got him a little while ago"/"We got him last night" and he was only being fed a small amount once a day. I understand different feedings for different dogs, but when you can see his back and hip bones, something is not right. So, I loaded him up in the car, took him to the pet store, and took him home.

Bio:
Roscoe really is a great dog. He is attached to me (his "momma") and may have a little bit of separation anxiety as the first day we left him alone in the house he tore it up. He does need obedience training, but he also needs a lot of love. I think he feels like everyone is going to leave him as he hasn't had a permanent home in his short 2 years. Once he gets used to us, our routine, and realizes he's not going anywhere and neither are we, I have a feeling he will be the best behaved dog :)
