Almost Christmas!

My mom has recently started working, and I am home alone during the day. It is hard, but I am pretty good. I got into trouble last week because I chewed up a blanket and a couple of shoes...I was SO bored! My mom was mad at me, but she understood that I am still young and need more exercise - but it is SO COLD!! I got to see that white stuff that falls on the ground, called snow, for the first time! I was SO excited that I was biting mouthfuls of it and running as fast as I could! Christmas is almost here!! I've never had one before, but I think it's supposed to be a big deal!

Start of a busy week

I slept really well last night, even though Mom and Dad kept moving me down to the bottom of the bed. Why can't they understand I like to sleep between them and use their pillows? It makes me feel warm and safe!
I'm not sure what's going on, but I know something is about to happen - I can sense it, and it makes me nervous. Mom tells me that she just has a busy week this week, but how am I supposed to know what she's talking about?
Yesterday, I found the most amazing thing! When I was digging in the freshly plowed ground, I found wriggly things that tasted yucky. So, I walked toward the ditch, and found a dead mouse! It was already chewed on, and I was really excited! But, before I could really get it chewed up for myself, my mom yelled at me and drug me away from it! She was talking some kind of gibberish about it being gross and bad for me - I don't care...it was good!

Today I got to go on a LONG walk with my best pal, Aimee. She takes really good care of me! She made me a coat that is pink suede and lambs wool on the inside. It's comfy and I can still run in it! I am almost done taking my medication for my back. I can't remember what I did to hurt myself, but I sure did hurt a lot! The nice guy that looks at me said I pulled some muscles in my back. I don't know about all that fancy stuff, but I sure didn't feel like running! I'm not supposed to be running at all for another 3 days, but I snuck in a few jaunts while we walked this morning...boy, did it feel great!
