Hello everyone!!! Sorry I haven't update you in a long time, but I have been under strict orders to stay calm while undergoing my heartworm treatments. Well, I can proudly say "They are over" and I did wonderful throughout all the treatments! I am so glad I finally get to play with my fur-sister Ally. I love to play with her! My foster mommy tells me that I continue to be a big help around the house; not only do I help cook (I like to lie on the kitchen floor and watch) , I help clean-up spills (I discovered by mistake that I sort of like frozen peas and carrots). Mom says I am a good boy and I continue to mind my good manners, although sometimes I forget that I should not jump on people ( I just get so excited, I cannot help it). I know how to "sit", "shake", "give 5", "down", and "come". I am still learning "off" and "stay". Mom and Dad tell me I am very smart and have excellent potential to learn many advanced tricks! I got to experience the dog park for the very first time and it was very interesting- there were a lot of trees to pee on and many dogs to sniff. I didn't run around and play like I do in the backyard because there was so much going on, but I did enjoy myself and I got to meet some new friends. Dad says I still have many "firsts" to experience. I wonder waht else they have in-store for me? Lately, my foster mommy has been telling me now that I am healthy I am ready for a home of my very own. As much as I like it here, I know that I would love a home of my very own. If only I could give a few suggestions...please have another dog for me to play with and please let me lay in your lap (cuddling is what I do best)! Much love, Mister

Hello everyone! It's Mister here. I am sorry I have not written in a while, but I have been busy learning to like my crate and trying my very best to stay calm (which is a challenge!). I had my first heartworm treatment at the beginning of the month and I have done very well. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, although I was very sleepy for the next few days. I so badly want to run and play and jump, but my foster mommy says that is just not possible right now and that I must be a good boy and wait another month. I am supposed to have my second and third heartworm treatments this week, then "house rest" for another month, then I can play to my heart's delight!!! I have done a lot of traveling in the car lately and let me tell you- it is one of my favorite things to do! I love looking out the window and watching the world go by. On warmer days, I really like to hang my head out the window and feel the breeze in my face. But, it hasn't been warm in a while. In fact, it SNOWED!! I loved everything about the snow- licking it, tasting it, feeling the cold white stuff on my feet and face! I couldn't play in it though because of my heartworm treatments, but it was still fun. That is all that has been happening here. Mommy said Valentine's Day is coming up and that I should wish everyone much love and happiness. Can I be your Valentine? Happy New Year!!! It's me, Mister. Christmas was tons of fun and I was on my very best behavior. I must have been a very good boy because Santa left me lots of treats and toys. I had a lot of visiting to do over Christmas and had to take many car rides- it's a good thing I love to ride in the car. Sometimes, I even like to hang my head out of the window. I still have to stay in the crate somedays and I am trying my best to make myself like it a little more. Yesterday, I got inside it and curled up and slept for a little while, so it is getting a little better. My mommy tells me that I have to visit the doctor tomorrow; remember, I have those heartworms and I have to get them treated, so tomorrow I am supposed to get my first HW treatment. After that, I am to take things with ease and be very, very calm. Please say a prayer for me, because I am scared and don't want to go. Mommy says after it is all over, I can play again, so I can't wait for the fun!! I'll be sure to keep you update on my progress. Until next time..... XOXO Mister
