He was found wondering around a couple towns over. He stayed in the shelter for 2 weeks with no one claiming him. He was underweight, had fly bites on both his ears and a tear in one of them. He was quick to take a liking to both my husband and me. The way I tell the story to people is "We went to the shelter to look at a dog we found online. I said "sit" he sat, so we picked him up the next day. It is so true when they say that you don't chose the dog, but the dog chooses you. Went to the beach the other day. At first I was very nervous..never saw the ocean before. But then I realized all the other dogs were going in so I did too. It was a lot of fun. Started to drink the water. It was salty but I didn't mind and kept right on drinking until I threw up.
The beach is a blast...can't wait until we go back!
