Arrival Story:
I was depressed (major family issues) and went to my local pound to just look around. Nikki had a pink bandana on. I thought she was a bit odd looking but I recognized her from looking online at the adoptable dogs. She had been there for over a week. She kept jumping or should I say BOUNCING like a rabbit and then walking like a human on her back legs. It was hilarious. She had quite the personality. I played with her a little and was getting ready to leave. When I passed by the second open door and looked back she was actually standing on her back legs staring at me with that pink bandana on. I saw two of the girls that worked there talking and shaking their heads in sorrow like she was maybe close to getting euthanized...Like I said, she was there over a week and no one had any holds on her. I went back and grabbed her!!! When my husband saw her, he was like WHAT IS THAT??? She was different than any dog we had ever owned.. We love her so much!!! She sleeps with us (sometime) cuddles, swims, does tricks, and can even say I LOVE YOU!!! I SWEAR!!! She is AWESOME!!! I'm so glad I took that second look!
