Arrival Story:
My parents had a silky when they were first married and were looking for a new baby. I was a birthday gift for Gigi (my dad) from my mom and Tiki's mom. They looked long and hard for the perfect Silky and there I was!!! I saved my dads life once. Something was wrong and it scared me. I was licking his face to try and wake him up! He finally woke up and was able to get to the kitchen. My mom and I knew he had a stroke. Mom called 911. The firemen and paramedics came and took him to the hospital. Thank gosh he's now okay! I saved him. I love my Mom and Dad!!!! WOOF!

My dad was in hospital

My dad was not felling good around Christmas Eve through Christmas and I knew he was having problems with his chest pain. I tried to tell my mom about him but, she was busy cooking and getting ready for guests. She always thought I wanted go to outside or asking for snacks.

My people sister and brother came with thier childrens, I was so happy to see them and forgot about my dad for a while. Those little people always play with me and it is always soooo much fun to be with them. I was soooooo tiered at end of the day and went sleep with my mom and dad, then I noticed and remembered about my dad and I jumpped and barked to them.

My dad told my mom that he was not feeling good for last few days and want to call his doctor about his problem. But his doctor told him to go to somewhere call " Emergency Room". They took me to my people sister's house and left me with little people again and I was happy and forgot about my dad for a while. Mom came back to pick me up but Dad did not come back with her.

He was away for 3 bedtimes and finally came home, but mom said he is ok and just his heart needed to work harder so he can take me to mail box to pick up mail and other business I have to do out side. He has to eat more round things in different color but, he will be ok - Mom said.

I am glad my dad is home so I can play with his golf balls and sit with him when he takes his knapp while my mom is gone to work.

Thank you for listening to me. Woof Woof

Last week mom and dad took me to NewPort for few days and I had good time walking on soft sand. I felt funny walking on the beach at first, but about 2nd time around I start loving it. Soft sand make my feet feels good and keep very clean too.

I saw many other people look like me and they all said love this beach. One of the big buddy told me to watch out for bad smelling things may cause your tummy ache if you eat them. but my mom and dad made sure I don't eat those things so I was ok.

I had good time at beach, but it sure good to be home with my toys and my own things. Also mom and dad can sleep with me on my bed too and they looked more comfortable.

I thank mom and dad for fun I had, I wish they will take me to beach again soon.

It's like the first day of your first baseball game. Not sure quite what to expect.
A little nervous.... your just out there. Everyone is watching. Not sure how the spectators will react. Just playing it cool. I just do what I've got to do.
FETCH!
