Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Birthday: October 30th 2004
Likes: Cadence really likes to shred paper and she really likes to aggravate the cats. She likes water and car rides a lot too.

Pet-Peeves: Being left alone, being brushed

Favorite Toy: Soft toys, the family cats, ice cubes

Favorite Food: Her raw food - Chicken. She also loves her dry roasted turkey treats

Favorite Walk: Anywhere with Mommy and Daddy

Best Tricks: She knows how to sit, roll over and lay down, shake, and "smile" (show her teeth on command), pretending to want to be let in and then running away when I get to the door

Arrival Story: Two years ago, I was at a local German Festival and saw a big black Standard Poodle. I immediately went over and started talking to the owners because I thought he was so cool and I wanted to know more about tall poodles. While I was there talking, the standard poodle sat by my leg and leaned against it while I pet him. It was love at that point and I talked about wanting a poodle after that and eventually having one. I joked around about having a poodle under the tree one Christmas and even put it in a Christmas list to my boyfriend and we both got a good laugh out of it. The laugh was on me because I got little Cadence as a Christmas present a few days before Christmas that year I put one on my list. My boyfriend brought her home at 2 AM and I woke up to a little tiny face in a carrier.

Bio: Update: Unfortunately I developed osteosarcoma in July of 2011. Mommy and Daddy made the decision to make me a tripawd so that I could live my life to the fullest and pain free, as well as get rid of that nasty tumor. I heard this word "mets" and that they may develop soon, but so far I am doing great and I have none of these "mets". Mommy feeds me a raw diet now and I am just flourishing on it. I am loving life on three legs plus I have a new baby brother to play with.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Old Info: Yeah! I graduated obedience school on June 22nd! Mommy is so proud of me, she is putting me in agility! I also love baths and water. I jump into the tub anytime I get the chance and once when I was being poodle-sat, I ran into the neighbors yard to stand under their sprinklers.

Forums Motto: Talk to the tail

I just had the most exciting time any dog could hope for. In mid-July daddy and mommy took me up in a little airplane. We went to visit grandpa. The sensations in take off were so strange and I could not sit down at first but after a few minutes I laid down and enjoyed the ride. I felt safe and secure because mommy made sure I had my seat belt on. Mommy could not quit bragging to everyone how good I was on the airplane. I did not need a dog sickness bag and I just slept during the whole trip. Mommy keeps talking about getting "Mutt-Muffs" to help it not be so loud for me during the flight. I don't know what those are but both Mommy and Daddy wear them while flying. That was quite an adventure. I can't wait to go again!

Yeah! Mommy finally tied the knot on May the 4th. I did not attend the wedding, but stayed home to guard the house during the ceremony. Mommy allowed me to play doggy-dressup and be a bride too just like her. This is me coming back from a fun week with grandma while mommy was on her honeymoon. I want to marry their doggie. He is so handsome! I am so happy that Daddy is now a permanent part of our family.

There have been a lot of changes in my life lately. First of all, we moved into a new house. I am so happy to have a big fenced in back yard now. It beats having to go out on leash all the time. I can ruff at the neighborhood kids and bark a hello at dogs passing by. Also, mommy got engaged and she is getting married. Not sure what that means, but I think I wil have a permanent daddy now. There is talk of me going to the wedding and wearing a veil, but we will see about that! Also, mommy and daddy are going away this weekend somewhere warm. I know I would have gone, but they are flying and mommy is afraid to put me into the cargo hold. I heard talk about dogs getting lost and that seemed scary. Maybe things will calm down come spring. I am looking forward to that.
