Arrival Story:
Only by the kindness of strangers will Merlin have a shot at becoming a finalist in the "Cutest Dog Competition."
This 12-week national competition is in its final week (Oct. 18- 24 2009). The contestant with the most votes in one week wins that week and moves on to become a semi-finalist where a panel of judges choose the top four finalists.
Merlin is a rambunctious three-month-old puppy who loves to chew on everything. He finds it funny to run off and hide the treats I give him to enjoy at a later time. Sadly Merlin has a small heart murmur but his veterinarian says he is growing out of it nicely. If Merlin can use his magic and win the grand prize of $ 1 million we pledge to donate $10,000 of the prize money to the Nevada Humane Society.
