Female 6 months
White with Brown spots.
Pocket boxer/VERYsmall boxer
Not spayed (yet)
Sweet & loving
Hey there I'm Esmeralda but everyone calls me Esmie. I am a really lucky girl cause this man dropped me off with this lady and said that my brother passed way and he didn't think he could help me. So the Lady, we will call her Angel, rushed me over to her vet. See I was full of worms and very emaciated (starved). I only weighed TEN POUNDS! Boy was I glad to be in the Vets hands and his staff, cause they made sure I got some Blood from this Great Mastiff named Solomon and plenty of FOOD. I'm so happy to be here all I do is wiggle and sleep....for now. I love being held and since I will never ever be a full size boxer that's okay I will be the right size to be held all the time... if I want. So fill out an application for me today cause I will be one hot property very soon.
Note from Esmie's foster mom:
Esmie is so sweet and is well on the road to recovery. She will not need any special care once she has gained an appropriate amount of weight & been spayed. A dog her size should weigh at least 25 to 30lbs and she only weighs 12lbs now. But she is very healthy considering her rough start in life. She will not be allowed to go to a new home til she is at a healthy weight. But she will never ever be a normal size boxer.
There are advantages to being a pocket boxer she wont ever knock you down when she comes barreling into a room LOL. So If you have been looking for an apartment size or condo size dog or maybe you just want a boxer you could hold all the time Esmie will be your girl. She has so much love to give

10/8/2009- Esmie is a 6 month old female boxer that only weighs 10lbs. She is very very weak . A man brought a box to one of our volunteers and said that her brother died this morning so he wanted to find this little beauty some help. So here we are here trying to save this little girls life. Esmeralda was infected with fleas but is parvo negative. She is at the vet getting fluids. She will likely need some serious after care to get her strong and fat and happy like a 6month ole puppy should be.
