Arrival Story:
I went to the shelter to volunteer and as soon as I saw the litter he was in he was the first one I scooped up! He had 5 other brothers. Two were the same color as him, and three were black & white. Bentley was the biggest one. I played with them all and I just loved his personality, we just clicked. I really wanted to adopt him but it took me a week to convince my boyfriend (NOW EX) and I adopted him on November 30th, a few days before my birthday so he was an early present!

Bio:
Bentley and I have been through a lot. I used to have a lot of dogs and I recently left a bad relationship and had to say goodbye to all but two of my dogs. Bentley was one of the lucky ones that got to stay with me. He has separation anxiety and I just didn't think he would do good in another home. I knew he wouldn't be able to handle being in a shelter or passed around from a foster home to a permanent home, so he stayed with me. He is a really good boy and behaves really well which was also something I had to consider when I chose which 2 dogs stayed. I rent a house and I cannot have any destructive dogs here. I'm so glad to still have Beebs in my life but I struggle daily with the loss of his brothers & sisters. I miss them all so much. When I first left my ex, me & Bentley & some of the other dogs did a lot of moving around and Bentley did fantastic with all the moving around. We definitely have a closer bond than ever after everything we've been through together.
