Buster's Banter: entry #1

Welcome to Buster's Banter, where I muse about the happenings in my life, in my house and about my mom and dad.

Today was a pretty exciting day, because mommy and daddy didn't have to work, so we got to do all sorts of things together. First things first, we got to go for a car ride - I LOVE car rides! I like to ride in the back seat, cuz then I get to take up a lot of space and check out both sides of the car. We went to Petco today, and I saw this awesome football chew toy, mommy said no though cuz I I would tear it up in minutes - they picked out a more sensible rope toy. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good rope toy, but I would have really LOVED that football. Oh well, maybe I'll get it next time.

When we got home there was more excitement, there was a stranger outside my house with a big silver thing, kinda scary, but I'm a pretty brave dog so I barked at him. Mom told me it was just the pest control guy and that I could settle down, I mean, geez mom, let a dog have a little fun, right???

Anyways, I got some interesting news today, mom and dad asked me if I wanted a new little brother or sister. They went out to look for one, but came back empty handed - guess there isn't a dog who is quite as cute as I am. They told me not to worry, that they were going to see some other puppies tomorrow. Not sure how I feel about this, because I need my mom's and dad's attention ALL THE TIME - anyone else out there feel this way? Or do you have a little brother or sister, what do you think of them???
