Arrival Story:
Mac was brought to our local animal shelter with a litter. They were all adopted, but Mac's owners took him back to the shelter because he is deaf 2 weeks after she adopted him. Turns out Mac is bilateraly deaf and has vision problems. But that hasn't stopped him from getting into everything

mac became sick 4 weeks ago with vomiting and diareha. We tried several mess and he quit eating. I made him everything I could think of to make him want to eat. He lost 15 lbs over that time. He lost the use of his legs on Thursday and was having seizures Monday night. They tested for everything and they still don't know what it was, maybe a genetic defect. He will always hold a place in our hearts and he touched so many that they are mourning our loss. He has been buried in our backyard, he was never left alone and now he will be with us. I love you buddy, and I miss snuggling with you. You can rest now.

My mom rescued a female boxer named Lizzie Mae. She is going to be my companion for many years, I hope. I loose her because I can't see real well so mom put a bell on her collar and it helps soooo much. We wrestle every day and she sure wears me out. I am really out of shape, but with wrestling every day I will be in bikini shape by the time we start camping. I sure hope she likes the water, because we do a lot of swimming.
