Arrival Story:
Sophie is our third black lab. After losing Annie to cancer, we knew we wanted another black lab to love. She was five months old when she became part of our family, and she is a perfect f it.

Bio:
Sophie is a mellow but playful girl who is as sweet as they come. She loves all dogs, big and small, but has taken to trying to chase cats. She also enjoys a good squirrel chase at the park, and loves to chase the tennis ball with her best friend, Sugar. Sophie is the only dog I know that bounces the tennis ball herself and catches it over and over. She also throws the ball into our jacuzzi and waits for us to retrieve it and throw it again for her. She is a great hiking companion on our vacations to the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains.
