We found Steven at the Animal Care and Control Reception Station on 110th Street. He was the perfect size 23 pounds and he had the perfect atitude for our household. He had the saddest eyes, and tear stains on his eyes from crying and being in that horrible place. Steven was bought to that shelter on 09/28/2009 and on 10/01/2009 he was adopted by me and my family. We were told by the volunteer that first come first serve and who every gets there at 3:47 pm on 10/01/2009 will be the first to adopt Steven. I did not go back home with my husband to pick up my stepson, my husband went to pick him up and I stayed at the shelter waiting to be first. I was the first one there and we manage to adopt Steven. Steven was suppose to be neutered that day and then we would be able to pick him up on the 2nd but he had a cold, so we were able to take him the same day on medication and we have to return on 10/23/2009 at 8 AM to have him neutered. Bio: When we bought him home my stepson changed his name to Tyson. He is a beautiful dog, and on 10/04/2009 I took him and my Cat Precious to the The Pet Ark to be groomed. Tyson is well behaved, house broken, barks only when necessary, and does not bark during the night.......He is a very sweet and friendly dog and we all love him very much.
