Boy, I’ve had all kinds of adventures this month. I’ve been swimming in a pool with a lifejacket on and I’ve been on a boat too. I love when its grass cutting day because I follow the lawn mower around for the whole hour and half it takes to cut. I don’t bark at it or anything. I just want to make sure it’s not going to disappear with my foster mom, so far, so good. I really love being outside but I’m not a big fan of thunder at all. I don’t freak out or anything. It just makes me a little nervous and I need to be with my people. I got to see my old boyfriend a couple of weeks ago. It doesn’t seem fair that he got adopted and I didn’t. I wouldn’t say this to his face or anything, but I’m just as good as him if not better. I don’t understand why we older folks are overlooked when someone wants a pet. We are the BEST if you ask me. I’m not giving up though. I know my day is coming. Can you make it today? I just need some food and lots of love. Toys and treats are great bonuses but not required. I’m easy!!

I’ve been at my foster home for a little over six months now and I surely thought I’d have a forever home by now especially since I am such a great girl. My foster parents ADORE me. Not much has changed. I’m just patiently waiting. I’m so glad that heartworm treatment is over because I love playing with the other dogs. I continue to love everyone I meet – man, woman or child. I’m just a lover – that’s me – a LOVER. Who doesn’t need a little love? I have plenty to go around. Also, I am great in or out of the crate. If you leave me out, I MIGHT steal your bed. I like to just sit on it and rest and observe everything that goes on around me. Now that summertime is here, I’ve found I’m just a little afraid of thunder – not too much though. Also, now that it’s warm, my foster parents say they’re going to take me on some sort of boat ride. I don’t think I know what that is but I’m sure I’ll like it because I’m happy just to be with my people. Actually, I’m not hard to please at all and I like to make sure that I obey because I get rewarded with all kinds of treats. I would obey anyway though. I’m just that kind of girl.
Oh, one other thing......I love to chase tennis balls and I love stuffed animals and pig ears!!!

I think Isis would do best in a home where there are other dogs. I only say that b/c I think she would be lonely as an only dog.

Needs the following: She is crated trained but does completely great with free roam. She is great on a leash.
Has medical condition: Just waiting on the "all clear" on May 6
Needs work on: nothing - she is a fabulous dog

Whoo-hoo!!!! I'll be finished with my heartworm treatment in about a week and a half. My mom says I deserve an award because I've been a super champ. She's always bragging on me and telling me what a good girl I am and how I'm no trouble at all other than feeding me. My favorite spot in the house is still their bed during the day but it's just so I can keep an eye on everything that's going on. I also love my dog pillow and I'm great in a crate - I just prefer freedom, but who doesn't? Mom keeps me pretty spoiled with treats to chew and stuffed animals. Boy, do I love m stuffed animals. I like to slowly remove their eyes, nose and anything that's protruding and then toss it up in the air and run circles with it. My mom says I start celebrating like I've won a trophy or something. Don't let the gray face fool ya. I've still got a lot of spunk left. I've included some pics of me playing with my toys and my friends as well as one just relaxing in the sun. Let me know if you would like an autograph. Better yet, maybe you could just take me home with you - then you wouldn't need my autograph because I would be yours. :)

From her foster mom: It could be easily said that Isis is the perfect dog. Seriously, she is absolutely no trouble. I feel like Isis either lived live on a chain or may have been abused. Sometimes she crouches when she first approaches you and starts licking your hands immediately as if to say, "please don't hurt me". I want her to have the best years she can possibly have for the remainder of her life. She is fabulous on a leash and knows her commands well. She is so very eager to please and gets along with anyone and everyone. We have 4 other dogs in the house that she loves to play with - young and old alike. She even does great with any guest dogs that we have that may come for a visit. Please give this special girl a chance at a forever home.

Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve updated. I’ve been going through
my heartworm treatment and my foster parents have been taking super good
care of me. They say I’ve really been a champ. My last visit is next
Monday and I’m so excited because I am ready to play with my fur siblings. I
am a super loving girl that just loves to be wherever you are. A stuffed
animal or a chew are also much appreciated. I do have one bad habit – I
love to lay in my foster parents bed. They don’t mind until night time when
it’s their turn to get in bed and then my foster dad picks me up like a baby
and gently lays me on my own bed right beside theirs. That used to scare me
but now I relax completely because I trust him now. Now I just roll over on
my back with my belly in the air and wait for him to pick me up. I know
it’s a little rotten of me. I could get down by myself but I just love,
love, love the attention – probably because for most of my life I didn’t get
very much. I really am a very good girl with lots of love to give. I’m
good with all people, children and other dogs.

I have been in my new foster home for about six weeks now. I am still waiting on my heartworm treatment but you would sure never know I had them. I love to play with toys and my new foster brothers and sisters. My foster parents are great. I’m getting a little spoiled by them and have completely forgotten about the fella I came here with. I get lots of love here. I just got a big new bed to sleep on and I get to chew pig ears and rawhides. I’m just a super easy girl. I obey everything that is asked of me. Have a heart and consider adopting me. February would be the perfect month since I have so much LOVE to give.

Hi! Isis here. I am probably about 7 years old and a super duper girl. I am a lover, not a fighter. Kissing is my favorite thing to do. I am very submissive and obedient and get along well with other dogs. I’m house and crate trained too. Twitch and I are in a new foster home where we have lots of room to roam around and go for walks and play, play, play. When our family isn’t home, we lay in a big crate together and are perfectly content. I am a very good girl with super manners. I love everyone and everything and will do everything I am asked to do. I am heartworm positive and getting ready to start treatment. I am looking forward to getting through that and finding my forever home. Don’t let my age scare you. I still have great boxer energy and love to play. I just want someone to snuggle with and love. Check me out if I sound like your girl.
