07.10.2005 Hmmm...whats this?

I was wandering around in the back yard. I had been out there for about an hour. I had already explored the entire backyard and decided I was going to look under the deck. Hmmm...whats this? I put my paw alllll the way under the deck, desperate to pull out my finding. reaching and reaching until finally it came within mouths reach. It was a nice, smooth, black power cord that powered the lighting on the deck. Oh what fun this will be! I grabbed it and went to run to my favorite chewing place. I took about 3 steps and was yanked back to the deck by the cord. I quickly went to plan B before someone saw what i was doing. Chew chew chew...chew chew chew. Perfect! A nice 10 foot stretch of chew toy! Good thing the deck lighting is on a timer, or that might have hurt! I prceeded to chew and chew until I heard the back door open. Oh no I thought. I desperately tried to stash the wire, but in my chewing frenzy, I had tangled myself in the evidence. I hobbled behing the deck and managed to free myself from tangle. I came back out from the deck and he looked at me and said, "What did you have?" I gave him the "I dont have anything" face. He went behind the deck and saw my ball-o-wire. He was coming right for me and I took off with my ears pinned back (aerodynamics). He cornered me and dragged me inside to..... the cage. I sat there and thought about what I did. It was worth it. He let me out and I apologized to him the best way I know how...the ONLY way I know how. He fixed the wiring and I cant reach it now. I'll find something else. Don't worry about that!

I was lured into the bathroom by some clapping hands. Little did I know, it was time for a bath again! The door closed behind me and I knew I was into something I didnt want to be in. Water came rushing out of the pipes and into the bathtub. I was shaking before I even reached the water. I clawwed at my owner's arms as he lowered me into the tub. And little did I know, that water was warm... like the blow dryer. I thought to myself, "This is more like it!" Soaped up, rinsed off, towel dryed and blow dryed and I didn't get cold once. I'd like all baths to be like that one from now on.

It was around 4 o'clock when i was taken outside. I thought this was a routine potty check. Boy was i wrong. My leash was attached to a pole and all of a sudden water came pouring out of the hose and I knew I was in for it. As soon as the water hit me I yelped with fear hoping it would end the downpour. My owner knelt down and I ran to his arms and shivered as the water kept coming. I think my owner got more of a bath than I did that afternoon. When the water stopped my owner wrapped me in a big towel and took me inside. Then I had to sit in his lap. Suddenly he pulled out a blow dryer and proceeded to dry my fur with that as well. At first I was a little reluctant. But after i felt that warmth, I couldn't resist. What a day!
