Arrival Story:
As we backed in the driveway coming home from church, my husband said, "Oh no, this is trouble!". Ted was sitting in front of the garage door like he was waiting for us to get home. He ran right into the garage when we opened the door. The rest is history!
Bio:
Ted had a rocky start with us. We took him to the vet to be checked over and the vet discovered he had demodectic mange. It's not contagious to other dogs but is passed from mother to pup while nursing. It's very hard to clear up, often doesn't go away and can recur. It's also very expensive to treat. After about 3 months and many hundreds of dollars, he finally tested negative and has stayed negative for almost a year. Yay!!
