Arrival Story:
After losing our beloved Sherpa, we didn't think we wanted another dog right away. We were wrong..... A friend told us about seeing Sibe pup pictures in a shopping area east of Quito and we called to set up a time to see the two that were left. We ended up seeing only one, the runt of the litter. He was so sweet and gentle we just fell in love with him!
We picked him up after Christmas break and took him home. Boy, is he a love! He has an extremely furry butt and as a puppy it was just too cute! I couldn't get enough of touching him and petting him.
It was hard at first to let him into our hearts since losing Sherpa had been so sudden, but he has slowly stolen our hearts. We look forward to many years with his loving and giving nature!

Haven't written much lately 'cause I've been super busy with the new year! Since my mom and dad came back from their trip, we have had a number of runs every week and they have been great! I sure missed them for the two weeks they were gone! Of course, while they were gone, I had lots of time with my buddies at the doggy hotel! I overheard that I tired out all the other guests with my boundless spirit!
Well, off to plan my antics for the night!

Well, I didn't get a run but I did have a great long walk with mom this morning after getting up REALLY early for dad to go climbing! I have been relaxing with mom all day and it has been great! I even got a yum yum! I am looking forward to this evening when I can ask dad about his day.

Mom and dad came home late from work today and I was a bit worried. When they got home, they told me they had gone out to dinner with my auntie Donna! Why didn't they take me too?! After getting home, dad started sorting and packing things.....I thought they were going on a trip until dad said something about climbing a mountain tomorrow. Cool! I hope I get to go too! I'm trying to ignore mom's comments about staying home with me....maybe she will take me for a run in the park as a consolation prize! I love the park.....especially when we get to see the llamas. They sure look like they would be fun to play with. I might talk to the dog who gets to be with them all the time and see if he would let me join in the fun some day. Some of the llamas have similar coloring as me so I would fit in!
