Our lil furry ball of joy..

The first time I saw her

On November 29th of last year my husband took all of us to a puppy expo here in Texas. The first thing I told my kids before we left the house was " We are going to look at the puppies, but we are not buying one, so don't ask". Oh boy, was I wrong! We got there and saw all the beautiful puppies they had. We were looking at one of the last playpens of puppies, when all the sudden I hear someone say " this ones are havanese" I immediately looked to where this lady was and we all walked there. My husband reached for one of the pups, she was the most beautiful thing! It was loved at first sight!!! My husband and kids looked at me, after all, I was the one that very clearly said no puppies. I was in love! The puppy was so loving, so soft, so pretty. She started licking the kids and wagging her beautiful tail. My husband look at me and said, " you can look at the other havanese, but I know I want her"
I went and looked at the other havanese puppies, they were all beautiful, but I didn't feel the same feelings that I felt when I saw the first puppy. My husband had her on her arms and told me he was buying her for me. My daughter was soo happy, she told me right there, "mama, her name is going to be Polly, Polly Precious Pocket" It was such a beautiful day. We were all so happy, excited and in so much love with this little pup. We immediately went shopping, got her more stuff than she really needed, and took her straight to the Vet, and the Vet told us, she was perfect! A beautiful perfect, healthy lil havanese!
She is one year old now and she is so loving, we all love her. She is like our baby. She is very close to me, follows me everywhere, and I have to admit it, I love that is she is like that.
