I got a HOUSE!!

Yep! It's mine..all mine! And I'll even be generous enough to share with Momma and Daddy!! BOL! This isn't the house I wrote about a few months back but as promised it came with a HUGE yard!! Oh yea...I'm loving it! Did I mention the back gate opens up to the BIKE PATH? As in LONG walkies!! I'm loving this house and yard...not too crazy about the hardwood floors but Momma put down rugs so I won't slip too much and I'm really taking my time getting from one rug to the next. I'm learning. I also get to sleep in the bedroom now. No more kitchen for me! And I haven't used a potty pad since we moved in neither! I'm so proud of myself...no accidents or anything! They still have a potty pad laying on the floor in case I can't hold it while they are at work but I'm a big girl and refuse to even look at it. Momma says in a few more days she will get rid of it cause it'll be 2 weeks then and she will be more confident I won't piddle on the floor. I get to bark at the little doggy next door and all the people stopping by while on the bike path. I'm slowly getting used to seeing a lot of people each day while they run, walk or bike behind the fence. I even stopped yelling at most of them for being there! Well I'm gonna go out to play for a little while and then take me a long well deserved nap! All this playing wears a puppy down ya know!

It's official

Yep! My pawrents are shopping for a house! I will have a yard in the next couple months. I'm so excited I can't hardly contain myself. I think a few zoomies around the living room are in order soon. BOL! They showed me pictures of the back yard in the latest house they found. All I can say is WOW! A huge yard just for little me? Saweet! Oh yeah...I can make that work. Did I mention it's completely fenced in? Yay freedom!! I can go outside without a harness and leash! How awesome is that gonna be? There is also a couple of doggies next door for me to chat with across the fence. It's the neighborly thing to do when you are the new puppy on the street. Hope the pawrents don't mind a few pawties while they are at work.
Momma thinks the doggies are labs and they are very friendly. Also the house has wood floors downstairs so I can lay down and cool off after doing zoomies in the back yard! There is also carpet on the stairs so I won't slip and fall when I'm running up and down them. I'll let ya know if I get to move into this house or if they find a different one. As long as I get my yard I'll be happy!

Spring

Yay! It's finally getting warm enough out to get out and PLAY! I'm trying to get Momma out to put up my exercise pen so I can bask in the warmth of the sun!! She aint getting it ready fast enough fur me. Momma has been trying to get Daddy to buy a house so we can have a fenced in back yard for me to play in all the time! How cool would that be?? We are hoping to get one sometime this summer. Wish us luck with that! Right now we still live in our apartment. No yard for me to play in. Gotta wait to go outside till I get my collar and harness and leash on. Too much time I could be playing instead of getting ready to play. Oh well. Til then, Momma will set up my ex pen outside so I can play in the sun and we will take our walks and dream of the backyard we will one day have.

Happy Turkey Day!

Learning new things...

When Momma took me for a walk yesterday I learned that it is NOT a good thing to try to eat strange poops no matter how good it smells. Momma was not amused! But I did get to go halfway around the apartment complex and see and smell EVERYTHING! I didn't realize how much I was missing out on by never going the new way we went. I gotta get Momma to take me on that route again! I may even find some yummy smelling poops to try to get into. BOL!!
Today I discovered the wonderpawness of bully sticks! WOW! Why didn't Momma get me these things before? They are Pawsome! I just kept chewing and chewing and chewing till I stopped. Momma thinks I'm teething and that's why I chewed so much today. I think they are pawsome and don't need any other reasons to chew on them. BOL!
I also get a new car seat tomorrow! I'm a little nervous riding in the one I have now cause it hangs from the headrest and I am a little too big to ride in it. So we got a new one that straps in the back seat and has fake lambs wool inside of it so I won't have to slide around whenever Momma drives. She calls it defensive driving but I kinda think she's trying to qualify for the Indy 500!! BOL! She also got me a matching new harness! I got that yesterday and got to try it out for my walk. It's pretty cool! I hope the new car seat is comfy cause we are going to be going to Grandpaws a lot and I need to be safe and comfy! Grandpaw also has 2 doggies! A mini daschund and a basset. I'm not used to them yet but hopefully after a few more visits they will let me play with them.
Well I gotta get back to my bully stick so I'll bark at ya later!

Changing colors

Momma said I'm turning into a camelion. I used to be solid black at 2 weeks old, then I started getting more white and tan in my coat. Now my black is turning brown. You can really see it in the sun. Momma said Daddy can even see the brown and he doesn't notice anything!! I can't wait to see what color I'll be. I hope Momma gets some batteries for the camera soon so she can have pictures of me changing colors. I'll make her post them on here so everyone can see my beautiful camelion coat!
